The invention “Modular Lead Vest Carriage System for Cerebral Angiography,” whose inventors include our head of laboratory Assist. Prof. Dr. Ulaş YURTSEVER, was granted a patent by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) on June 23, 2025, under number 2024/004523.
The invention is a modular system that allows the lead vests protecting healthcare personnel from radiation during cerebral angiography to be carried without placing their weight on the personnel. When needed, the system can also be used as a seat.
