TÜBİTAK has decided to fund project 122E560, “Developing an Artificial Intelligence Based Model for Predicting Agility Performance in Football Players,” led by Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul GELEN of the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, under the TÜBİTAK 1001 – The Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program through the Electrical, Electronics and Informatics Research Support Group (EEEAG).
The project aims to develop artificial intelligence based models that predict the agility performance of football players. The artificial intelligence work of the 24-month project, which will start on February 15, 2023, will be carried out in our laboratory.
Our head of laboratory Assist. Prof. Dr. Ulaş YURTSEVER and Prof. Dr. Özcan SAYGIN of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University take part in the project as researchers.
